Recently, the National Data Administration revealed that China has built more than 120,000 high-quality datasets with a total volume of 1,565 petabytes, continuously supplying core data support for the development of artificial intelligence (AI).
At present, a domestic data application landscape centered on "AI Plus" has basically taken shape, alongside an increasingly sophisticated data quality inspection system, with compliance testing completed for over 45.63 million data entries. As of the end of June, 578 data supply and demand entities have obtained national certification, and 1,433 datasets have been listed, enabling smoother data circulation and matching.
China is actively exploring new data business models such as token trading, advancing deep integration between data and sectors including industry, healthcare and finance, and fostering a "data flywheel" that drives bidirectional iteration of data and AI models. The market-oriented reform of data factors has accelerated: compared with figures at the end of 2025, the number of entities accessing data infrastructure and available data products have surged by 10 times and 4 times respectively. National computing hubs carry over 80% of the country’s intelligent computing power, laying an increasingly solid computing foundation.
Meanwhile, steady progress has been made in data industry pilots, standard formulation and digital talent cultivation. National pilot programs and leading industrial enterprises have built special datasets exceeding 151 petabytes covering 759 high-value scenarios, effectively empowering large-scale, high-quality growth of the AI industry.
